Business partnerships are common in trade and commerce. The principle behind it is that two entities can be more successful in a business venture than one. In today’s corporate climate, it is also tantamount to expanding ones network in a competitive market. In the clothing business, baby clothes wholesale is a concept where partnerships are formed. It is a partnership between the producer of the clothing and dealers who are interested to sell the products with special price arrangements.
This type of business partnership is not like the traditional corporate setup wherein investors put money on a venture to get a specific share of the business and the revenues that will come from it. In a distributorship, the wholesaler does not have a stake in the company. The only agreement is that wholesaler’s main function is to market the product to retailers or consumers. A partnership of this type does not need a huge amount of investment from the wholesaler. There are even producers who are willing to enter into a consignment agreement with credible dealers.
